Welcome to Journey Tails!
We are Brian and Michelle along with our 2 Shiba Inu "Tails"!
With sixteen years of marriage, a large house on 2 acres in the Denver area, high-paying professional jobs, and lots of toys we were living the American Dream! Or were we… We found that chasing the outward trappings of high-level careers and success left us feeling unfulfilled and burnt out with the daily business of the typical suburban lifestyle. Finally, we concluded this lifestyle didn’t make sense for us. So, we sold our house, gave away most of our belongings, and moved into a 36-foot RV! We are now touring the country on a journey of recovery and discovery. We don’t know what roads our Journey Tails will take us on, but we are excited to find out!
Our First Tail is Maiko
Our 13 year old "princess" who wasn't too sure about the whole RVing thing. She adjusted once she realized she would get 3-4 walks every day and gets to be with her people almost all the time!
Our Second Tail is Ichigo
Our "youngster" who we picked up in our RV in March 2020 a few months before we hit the road. He is a fun-loving little guy who loves RV life and especially playing in the lakes and rivers wherever we go! Gotta love "flavored" water!
Our RV Setup
We travel in a 2013 Tiffin Allegro Red 33AA and toad a Chevy Colorado.
